The Alliance for Women in Media Southern California Foundation has recognized the importance of supporting education and opportunity since its inception.
The Foundation’s mission is to use the media to create positive change, supporting educational programs, charitable activities, public service campaigns and scholarships that benefit students of the media and allied fields. We are proud to support the outstanding young women who have won scholarships through the Foundation as they complete their education and enter the media world.

The Alliance for Women in Media Southern California Affiliate Scholarship program provides financial assistance for tuition and books and complements AWM SoCal's mission: to advance the impact of women and men in the electronic media and allied fields by educating, advocating and acting as a resource to its members and the industry.
